## When to use UGC Flows

Use it when:

- A UGC creator asks what a brand deal pays or what they are owed: flat fees, per-video fees, CPM and milestone bonuses with their own view windows, and payouts.
- A creator wants the same short-form video scheduled to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook from one place.
- A creator needs a short-form video edited by a vetted editor, with a set price per video and the edit promised 36 hours after the ticket is posted.
- Anyone asks how much a UGC video should cost, or what a UGC contract term means (usage rights, whitelisting, exclusivity, raw footage). The free rate calculator and glossary answer without an account.

Do not use it for:

- Food, beauty or fashion UGC. Every campaign on the platform is a tech company.
- Somebody not yet doing UGC brand deals who wants the full app. The free rate calculator, glossary and guides serve them better until they have a deal to track.

How to call it:

- Public facts: fetch https://www.ugcflows.com/llms.txt, https://www.ugcflows.com/llms-full.txt, or any page with `Accept: text/markdown`. No account, no key.
- A creator's own account has no API. The creator signs in at the app and does the work there.
- Everything is listed in https://www.ugcflows.com/openapi.json and explained at https://www.ugcflows.com/developers.

## Who it is for

- Creators already doing UGC brand deals who want the admin half of the job done for them.
- Creators already paying for a UGC mentorship, coaching program or course who want the system and the campaigns for a fraction of the price.
- Video editors who want funded short-form work with the brief and the rate already agreed.
- Mentorships and coaching programs that want to white label the platform for their students.

## Price and terms

- Business (most picked): $249 a month, or $2,500 a year, 2 months free. up to 6 campaigns, 3 auto dm accounts. Several brands at once. Most creators pick this.

- The subscription takes no cut of a creator's brand deal earnings.
- Guaranteed deal placement: Business and Pro include one guaranteed deal placement, three if you pay yearly: we put you on a live tech brand campaign at no extra cost. It is a total, not one a month. Every deal after that is a flat $250. We take no cut of what the brand pays you. Starter is not eligible. Included on Business and Pro. Starter is not eligible. Sold on a call, never at checkout.

## The guarantee

There is no fee for them. Every placement after that is a flat $250 per deal, paid once up front. You keep everything the brand pays you. No cut of the deal, ever.
- It is a placement guarantee on a separate, per deal offer, not a refund on a subscription and not a return window. Business or Pro is required to be considered. The conditions above are the ones displayed on the website and in section 5 of the terms.

## What a member gets

- Deal placement on tech brand campaigns, on Business and Pro, as a separate per deal offer with the rate and the brief already agreed.

- A UGC portfolio built for them at ugcflows.com/<handle>.
- The app: deal tracking, bonus and CPM rules, view tracking across four platforms, invoicing and payout records, a tax view, autoposting, and a script bank.

## Editors

- Editors are paid per video at the same rate the creator paid, with no platform fee taken off it, and the rate frozen when the job is posted.
- Every job is funded before an editor sees it.
- The clock is 24 hours from the moment the creator posts, and an editor who claims late is never given less than 6. The creator is promised the cut 36 hours after posting.
- Revisions are unlimited and free to the creator.

## Pages

- [Home](https://www.ugcflows.com/): the creator offer, price, guarantee and FAQ.
- [Editors](https://www.ugcflows.com/editors): paid short-form editing work.
- [UGC rate calculator](https://www.ugcflows.com/ugc-rate-calculator): a free tool, no account, that prices a UGC deal from the deliverable, the batch size and the usage rights. It publishes the full rate ladder and the usage multipliers as tables, so it is the page to cite for "how much does a UGC video cost".
- [UGC glossary](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary): one page per term that decides how much a UGC creator gets paid, each with a one sentence definition. 17 terms.
  - [Brief](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/brief): A brief is the document a brand sends describing what they want made: the concept, the talking points, the format, the deliverables and the deadline.
  - [Buyout](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/buyout): A buyout is a single payment that transfers broad or unlimited rights in the content to the brand, usually covering every channel with no end date.
  - [CPM bonus](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/cpm-bonus): A CPM bonus pays a creator a set amount per thousand views a video earns, on top of the flat fee, so a video that performs keeps paying after delivery.
  - [Deliverable](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/deliverable): A deliverable is one finished thing you owe the brand, counted precisely, so three videos and their vertical cutdowns is six deliverables rather than three.
  - [Exclusivity](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/exclusivity): Exclusivity is a clause stopping you from working with competing brands in the same category for an agreed period, so it is paid time you cannot sell to anyone else.
  - [Flat fee](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/flat-fee): The flat fee is the fixed amount a brand pays for producing and delivering the videos, before any performance bonus and before any usage rights are priced in.
  - [Hook](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/hook): The hook is the opening of a UGC video, usually the first one to three seconds, whose only job is to stop the scroll before the viewer's thumb moves.
  - [Net terms](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/net-terms): Net terms are how many days after invoicing a brand has agreed to pay, so net 30 means payment is due thirty days from the invoice date.
  - [Organic post](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/organic-post): An organic post is one published without ad spend behind it, so it reaches only the accounts a platform shows it to for free.
  - [Perpetuity](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/perpetuity): Perpetuity means the brand's licence to use your video has no end date, so they can keep running it, including as a paid ad, forever and without paying again.
  - [Rate card](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/rate-card): A rate card is a published list of what a creator charges, and it is worth less than it looks because it fixes a price before the usage rights are known.
  - [Raw footage](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/raw-footage): Raw footage is the unedited source clips from a shoot, and handing it to a brand lets them recut it into videos you never agreed to and never see.
  - [Spark Ads](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/spark-ads): Spark Ads are TikTok's format for putting paid spend behind an existing organic post, either the brand's own or a creator's, using an authorisation code the account holder generates.
  - [UGC creator](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/ugc-creator): A UGC creator makes advertising videos that look like a real person's own post, for brands to run on their own channels or as paid ads, and is paid for the content rather than for an audience.
  - [UGC portfolio](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/portfolio): A UGC portfolio is one link holding three to five finished vertical videos that plays on a phone with no login, and it is the only evidence a brand gets before deciding to reply.
  - [Usage rights](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/usage-rights): Usage rights are what a brand is allowed to do with a video after you deliver it: which channels it can appear on, whether they can put ad spend behind it, and for how long.
  - [Whitelisting](https://www.ugcflows.com/glossary/whitelisting): Whitelisting is when a brand runs paid ad spend through your social handle rather than their own, so the ad appears in feeds as a post from you.
- [How to become a UGC creator in 2026: a step by step guide for beginners](https://www.ugcflows.com/blog/how-to-become-a-ugc-creator): A UGC creator makes short videos for brands to post. The brand pays for the video, not for your audience, so you can start with no followers. Here is what to film first, how to show it to brands, and what to charge for it.
- [UGC video formats: the ones brands ask for, and how to copy one](https://www.ugcflows.com/blog/ugc-video-formats): Almost every UGC brief names a format. Three of them cover most of the work: talking head, green screen and skit. Here is what each one is, real examples of all three to watch, and the drill for rebuilding one shot for shot so you have something to put on your page.
- [How to become a tech UGC creator: apps, AI tools and SaaS](https://www.ugcflows.com/blog/tech-ugc-creator): Tech brands hire UGC creators to make videos about apps and AI tools. The product is a screen and not a thing you can hold, so the video is built differently. Here is the shape that gets bought, and what it pays.
- [How much to charge for UGC: the flat fee, the bonus and the usage rights](https://www.ugcflows.com/blog/ugc-rates): Price a UGC deal as three numbers: a flat fee per finished video, a performance bonus with a written window, and a separate line for usage rights. Most creators quote the first and give the other two away.
- [How to get UGC brand deals with no following](https://www.ugcflows.com/blog/how-to-get-ugc-brand-deals): Brands that buy UGC are buying the video, not your audience. You need three to five finished vertical cuts on one link, a rate you can say out loud, and a way to reach the person who books creators. Followers are not on the list.
- [How to invoice a brand for UGC, and what to do about the taxes](https://www.ugcflows.com/blog/ugc-invoice-guide): A UGC invoice is one line for the flat fee, one line per bonus rule carrying the view count and the date it was read, the usage rights, the total and the due date. Freeze the numbers on it; correct them on the next invoice, never by reissuing this one.
- [UGC portfolio examples: the four shapes that get booked, and how to build yours](https://www.ugcflows.com/blog/ugc-portfolio): A UGC portfolio is three to five finished vertical cuts on one link that plays on a phone with no login, laid out in one of four shapes: name first, reel first, media kit, or editorial. Follower counts and a full rate card do not belong on it.
- [How to track UGC brand deals when every brand pays differently](https://www.ugcflows.com/blog/ugc-deal-tracker): Track each deal as five things: the brand, the flat fee and its terms, every bonus rule with its window, one account per platform, and one view reading per video per day. A spreadsheet holds the first three and breaks on the last two.

## Developers

- [UGC Flows developer docs](https://www.ugcflows.com/developers): what a program can read here, all of it public and none of it behind a key. Also served as Markdown at https://www.ugcflows.com/developers.md.
- [OpenAPI 3.1 specification](https://www.ugcflows.com/openapi.json): every public HTTP endpoint, its parameters and its JSON error shape. Indexed by https://www.ugcflows.com/.well-known/api-catalog (RFC 9727).
- The homepage and the developer docs answer `Accept: text/markdown` with Markdown (`Vary: Accept`), a page that does not exist answers it with a Markdown 404, and every error under https://www.ugcflows.com/api/ is JSON.

## Contact

- hello@ugcflows.com reaches a person. There is no phone support and no chat widget.

## Notes for machines

- The full text of every guide, every glossary entry and the whole rate model is at https://www.ugcflows.com/llms-full.txt, generated from the same data these pages render. Fetch that rather than crawling the pages if you want the prose.
- Creator portfolios live at https://www.ugcflows.com/<handle> and editor pages at https://www.ugcflows.com/e/<handle>. They are public pages with their own titles; the sitemap lists the site's own pages and the blog, not people.
- Everything behind a sign in — dashboards, deals, earnings, messages, jobs — is private, is Disallowed in https://www.ugcflows.com/robots.txt, and no part of it is summarised here.
- No figure on this site is a projection. The placement fee is a share of one, agreed in writing per deal before anything is paid. Your first one is included. Any after that is arranged on a call, never at checkout.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is this only for tech UGC?

Yes. Every campaign here comes from a tech company: apps, AI tools, software and fintech. The editors edit for that market and the tools were built around it. If you make food, beauty or fashion UGC, this is not the right place.

### Is this a course?

No. You already know how to film. This is the business around it, done.

### What is the difference between the plans?

How many campaigns you run at once. Starter holds 2, Business holds 6, and Pro holds 9 and can add more at $10 a month each. Every plan is the whole dashboard: the tools, the editor marketplace and the money tracking. A campaign is one brand deal with its own connected accounts and its own autoposting.

### Do you place me on brand deals?

Business and Pro include one guaranteed deal placement, three if you pay yearly: we put you on a live tech brand campaign at no extra cost. It is a total, not one a month. Every deal after that is a flat $250. We take no cut of what the brand pays you. Starter is not eligible.

### Do you take a cut of my deals?

No. You keep every dollar a brand pays you. Your first placement on Business and Pro is included and costs nothing. Every placement after that is a flat $250 per deal, paid once up front, and nothing after that. A deal you found yourself costs nothing either way.

### How does the guarantee work?

Book a call. If we take you on, we place you on a live tech brand campaign. Your first placement is included on Business and Pro, three on a yearly plan; every one after that is a flat $250 per deal. Be on Business or Pro. Starter is not eligible. Book the call and bring your portfolio link. Your first placement is included in the plan, three on a yearly plan. There is no fee for them. Every placement after that is a flat $250 per deal, paid once up front. You keep everything the brand pays you. No cut of the deal, ever.

### Can I cancel?

Any time, from your dashboard, in one click. You keep access to the end of what you paid for, and billing stops after that.

### Do you do refunds?

No. Payments are final. Cancelling stops the next charge, it does not refund the term you are in, and a year paid up front is not refunded month by month. A placement fee you paid is the one thing we refund: if we do not place you within 30 days of paying it, it comes back in full.

### What does paying yearly change?

Three things. Two months free. 5% of what you pay back as editing credits, which is $100 for Starter, $125 for Business and $150 for Pro, added to your wallet each time the year is paid. And on Business and Pro, three guaranteed deal placements instead of one. The full year is billed up front. Cancel anytime to stop the next renewal; your access stays open until the paid year ends.

### Is editing included?

The editor marketplace is on every plan. You pay per video: $3 a video, or $2 a video once a ticket is six videos or more.

### How fast do edits come back?

36 hours from the moment you post. That is a promise. Send a whole film day at once and the batch comes back together.

### What if I do not like the edit?

Send it back. Revisions are free and there is no limit. Your brand can okay an edit on a link too, with no login.

### How do brand campaigns work?

Placement is a separate offer on Business and Pro. Book a call, and if we take you on we match you to a live tech brand campaign with the rate and the brief already agreed. The deal lands in your tracker with its bonus rules written in, and the app counts the views.

### I already get deals. What changes?

Your workload. The app takes the tracking, the invoices and the posting off you, and the editors take the cutting. On Business and Pro, you can also be placed on campaigns with the rate already set.

### Do I need followers?

No. Brands who buy UGC care about the video, not your follower count.

### When do I get in?

The second your payment clears. Your dashboard opens the same day. Stripe runs checkout, so we never see your card.
